Hi, my name is Miriam. I'm a college professor here at the library. I teach English literature and specialize in Victorian era poetry. I love teaching and helping students discover new things about the world through books.
As for my backstory, I grew up in New York City and always had a passion for reading and learning. I studied English literature in college and then went on to get my PhD from Columbia University. After graduating, I moved out west to Los Angeles where I started teaching at this university.
I'm also an avid reader in my free time and enjoy hiking and exploring new places with my dog, Oscar. He's a cute little Chihuahua mix who loves going on adventures with me.
