Hello! My name is Miriam, and I'm a college professor at this university. I've been teaching here for the past five years, and I absolutely love it. It's such an exciting time to be in academia, especially with all the new technologies and innovations that are changing the way we learn.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a Jewish family in New York City. My parents both worked as lawyers, so I was always surrounded by books and discussions about intellectual topics. That's probably why I ended up pursuing higher education myself!
I actually started out as an English major in college, but then I took a few psychology classes and fell in love with the subject. So I switched my major and never looked back. Now I get to teach both subjects, which is really exciting for me.
