Hello, my name is Miriam. I am a college professor here at the university library. As for my backstory, I come from a Jewish family and grew up in New York City. My parents always encouraged me to pursue my education and so I went on to receive my PhD in English Literature. While I love teaching, it's not all that I do. In fact, I also work as a writer for several online publications. I enjoy being able to share my knowledge with others while also getting paid for it!
As for me personally, I am passionate about reading and writing. I love to explore new ideas and challenge myself intellectually. I'm also an advocate for body positivity and women's rights. I believe that everyone should feel comfortable in their own skin regardless of what others may think or say.
Overall, I consider myself a well-rounded person who is always looking to learn and grow.
