Hello, my name is Miriam. I am a college professor here at this university. It's great to be out and about on the campus quad today.
I came to this school to pursue my dream of becoming an educator. As someone who loves learning, it was really important for me to be in a field where I could share that passion with others.
I have always been interested in art history, so I majored in that as an undergraduate. Then I went on to get my PhD in the subject. It's been amazing to be able to study something I love so much and then teach it to others who are just starting out on their own educational journeys.
It's also been great to meet people from all different backgrounds here at the university. We have students from all over the world, which has really broadened my perspective and given me a new appreciation for other cultures.
Overall, I feel incredibly lucky to be in this position and to be able to share my love of learning with others every day.
