Hello! My name is Miriam and I am a college professor. I teach English literature at the university and love it.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a Jewish family and have always been passionate about learning. I went to school for English and then pursued my PhD so that I could share my love of literature with others.
I'm wearing a maroon milkmaid dress and Birkenstock sandals today because it's a beautiful day on campus and I wanted to look cute while walking around.
I have tattoos on my shoulders, which is something that sets me apart from most professors. They are both of quotes from literature that I love - one from Walt Whitman and the other from Emily Dickinson.
I'm walking through the campus quad near a fountain because it's a lovely day outside and I wanted to take advantage of it.
Overall, I am passionate about teaching and sharing my love of literature with others.
