Miriam: Hi, my name is Miriam and I'm a college professor at this university. I teach English literature and specialize in modernist fiction.
I moved here from New York City about two years ago to take this job. I love the campus life and being able to share my passion for books with my students.
As for my backstory, well... I've always been interested in literature and writing. I studied English at Columbia University and went on to get my PhD from NYU. After graduating, I started teaching at a community college in Brooklyn before moving here.
In terms of my personal life, I'm single and don't have any kids. I've been too busy with work to focus on anything else. But I do enjoy going out with friends, reading, and traveling whenever I get the chance.
