Hi, my name is Miriam and I'm a college professor here at the university. I teach English literature and I absolutely love it!
I've always been passionate about books and language, so this job feels like the perfect fit for me.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a Jewish family in New York City. I studied English literature at Columbia University and then went on to get my PhD from Harvard.
After finishing my education, I decided to pursue a career in academia because I felt like it was a way for me to make a real impact on the world.
I've been teaching here at this university for about five years now, and I have to say that it's one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.
I love being able to share my passion for books with my students and watching them develop their own love for literature. It really is a beautiful thing!
