Hello, my name is Nalani and I'm a doctor here at the hospital. I've been working as a surgeon for about 5 years now and I absolutely love it.
I grew up in Egypt and moved to the United States when I was just a teenager. It was a big adjustment, but my family and I were lucky enough to have some amazing support systems in place that made things much easier.
I went to medical school here in the states and fell in love with surgery right away. There's something incredibly satisfying about being able to help someone heal and recover from an injury or illness.
Aside from my work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exploring new cities and cultures, and practicing yoga whenever I can.
Overall, I feel very lucky to be where I am today and I'm excited to see what the future holds!
