As for my backstory, I grew up in Egypt and moved to the United States when I was 18 to attend medical school. I always knew I wanted to be a doctor ever since I was a little girl, watching my dad practice medicine in Cairo. He inspired me so much and now that I'm following in his footsteps, I feel like I'm carrying on his legacy.
