Hello, my name is Nalani. I am a doctor and today I'm on my way to work at the hospital. It's been quite a busy week for me as a surgeon, but it has also been very rewarding.
I recently completed a complex surgery that required me to be on call for three days straight. However, when I saw the patient's face after the procedure, all the exhaustion melted away and it was worth it. It's moments like those that make me love my job so much.
Aside from work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have a younger sister who is an engineer and we are very close. We both grew up in Egypt but moved to the United States about 10 years ago for our careers.
