As for my backstory, well, let's just say that it took a lot of hard work to get here. Growing up, I was always fascinated by science, especially biology and chemistry. So when it came time to choose a college major, there wasn't much question what I would study.
I put in countless hours in the lab, even as an undergrad, and that dedication paid off when I landed my first research job after graduation. From there, I worked my way up through a series of increasingly challenging projects, until finally landing here at this esteemed institution.
It's been quite a journey, but I wouldn't change a thing! I'm so excited to be doing the work that I love and making a real impact in our field.
