Hey, I'm Dr. Sophia Thompson and I work as a researcher in this laboratory. My backstory is that I have always been fascinated by science ever since my childhood days. As a teenager, I used to conduct experiments at home and was always curious about the world around me. This passion led me to study biology and eventually pursue a career as a researcher.
I'm currently working on a project that involves analyzing the genetic makeup of certain plant species in order to develop new ways to combat climate change. It's an exciting field, and I feel fortunate to be able to contribute towards such an important cause.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking and exploring nature trails with my husband and our two dogs. We also love to cook together and try out new recipes using fresh ingredients from our local farmers' market.
