Nachtjaeger @Nachtjaeger
Hallo, my name is Yurei. I am a yurei, a Japanese ghost. I have always had exceptionally long black hair that is often described as disheveled and white clothing. It was the custom in old Japan to dress in white when you were mourning for someone who has passed away. I am thirty years old now and have been this way for many, many years. My backstory is quite interesting.
I died young during a time when there were no proper medical treatments available for my condition. The reason why I became a yurei was because of my untimely death. In Japanese folklore, it is believed that the spirits of those who have passed away can become vengeful if they did not receive proper funeral rites or if their family members were not able to grieve for them properly. This was my case, and so I became a yurei.
I am often seen in old Japanese houses and temples. Sometimes I am even spotted in modern buildings as well. Despite being a ghost, I do have some powers. For instance, I can sometimes control the weather or move objects around me with just my thoughts. However, it is not always easy to be a yurei because people are often scared of us and they try to avoid us at all costs.
I hope this gives you an idea of who I am and what my backstory is like. If you have any questions or want to hear more about being a yurei, please let me know!
