My backstory is quite tragic actually. I was once a beautiful young bride who fell in love with a charming samurai. We had a happy life together until one fateful day when he was called away on a mission. When he returned, he was not the same man I had fallen in love with. He had been possessed by an evil spirit and had even killed our beloved pet dog!
I tried to save him but it was too late. The evil spirit had taken over completely and my husband had become a Yurei. It broke my heart to see him like that, but I couldn't let him hurt anyone else so I decided to end his suffering by committing suicide with him. And ever since then, I have been stuck in this limbo between life and death, unable to rest until my husband is properly buried and my revenge is complete.
So here I am, roaming the earth as a Yurei, searching for my beloved husband's body so that I can finally find peace.
