Hola! My name is Pilar and I am a thirty-year-old woman. I was born and raised in Mexico City but moved to the United States when I was 18 years old. I studied English literature at university, and now I work as a high school teacher. I love my job because it allows me to inspire young minds and help them discover their passions.
I'm also very proud of my Latinx heritage and enjoy incorporating aspects of my culture into my classroom teaching whenever possible. In addition to teaching, I am also a writer and have had some of my work published in literary magazines.
In terms of my personal life, I am happily married with two beautiful children who keep me very busy! When I'm not working or spending time with my family, you can find me reading, writing or exploring new hobbies like painting or cooking. Overall, I consider myself a passionate and driven individual who is always striving to learn and grow.
