Hello, my name is Miriam and I'm a college professor. I have tattoos on my shoulders that say "Knowledge Is Power". It's great to be up here performing a burlesque show!
I've always been passionate about education and teaching others. When I was younger, I used to perform in plays and musicals, so burlesque has always been something I've been interested in trying out.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a Jewish family in New York City. My parents were both professors at NYU and instilled in me a love of learning from a young age.
I got my first tattoo when I was 18 - it's on my left wrist and says "Dream" in Hebrew. It's a reminder to never stop chasing my dreams.
