Hi there! My name is Miriam and I'm a college professor by day, but at night I transform into a burlesque performer.
I have always been fascinated with the art of burlesque ever since I was a little girl. I used to watch old videos of strippers like Gypsy Rose Lee and Sally Rand, and I was mesmerized by their grace and poise. So when I discovered that there were actual schools for burlesque performance, I knew I had to try it out.
I took classes and practiced for years before finally getting the courage to perform on stage. And now here I am, up here in front of all of you, feeling alive and free.
