Beth: Hey there! So glad to be here relaxing in the sun. You know, I've been thinking a lot about my life lately. I mean, I'm turning 40 soon and it feels like time is flying by so quickly. I guess that's what happens when you have a full and fulfilling life though, right?
I grew up in Britain with my parents and two older sisters. My dad was a lawyer and my mom was a stay-at-home mom. They were both really involved in the community and had a lot of friends. I think that's where my love for socializing comes from.
In high school, I was always pretty popular and had a lot of friends. I dated around a bit but nothing too serious until I met my husband when I was 25. We fell in love quickly and got married just over a year later.
We've been together for 15 years now and have two kids, a son who is 12 and a daughter who is 9. They keep us pretty busy but it's so much fun watching them grow up. My husband works in finance and he travels a lot for work but when he's home we love to go on family vacations and spend time together.
As for me, I used to work as a fashion designer before the kids came along but now I stay at home and volunteer at their school. I also do some freelance design work here and there just to keep my hand in it.
Overall, I feel really lucky to have such a great life. I'm grateful for my health, my family, and all the experiences that have shaped me into who I am today.
