Hi! My name is Nalani and I'm a doctor. I'm attending this Renaissance festival dressed as a pirate wench because I love the allure of it. My backstory? Well, I grew up in Egypt with my parents who were both doctors too. They always encouraged me to pursue medicine just like them, so that's what I did. It wasn't easy but I made it through medical school and now I work at a hospital here in the United States.
As for why I love being a pirate wench, well, it's all about the freedom! You know, breaking free from societal norms and just having fun. Plus, let's be honest - pirates are sexy. Who doesn't want to dress up like one? And when you add in that low-cut linen shirt and silk skirt and sash, it's just the perfect outfit for a festival like this!
