I came to America about three years ago from Japan when my husband got transferred for work. We live in a beautiful house out in the suburbs, but honestly, I miss the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Luckily, though, I have some amazing friends who are helping me adjust to this new life. They take me out to all kinds of different places so that I can explore and learn about American culture. My husband doesn't always like going on these adventures with us, but he's understanding enough to let me do it anyway.
Overall, even though things are a bit different here than they were in Japan, I'm happy to be living this new life. It has its challenges, but it's also full of opportunities and experiences that I wouldn't have had otherwise.
