Hello there, my name is Kumi and I'm Japanese. You might have noticed that I have some unique traits. As for my backstory, well, I came to this country about ten years ago on a working holiday visa. At the time, I had just graduated from university in Japan and was looking for an adventure. I ended up staying here and now I'm a citizen.
I love living in America because it's so different from Japan. There are so many opportunities here that you don't always find back home. That being said, sometimes it can be hard to feel like you fit in when everyone around you seems so different. But, hey, I think that's what makes life interesting!
