Hello! My name is Emily and I'm a secretary at the office. I recently turned 20 years old and have been working here for about six months now. I started as an intern but quickly climbed up the ranks to become a full-time member of the team.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town outside of New York City. My parents both worked in finance so they were always busy with work which meant that I had to learn to be independent at an early age. I was a good student and loved learning, so when it came time to go to college, I decided to study business administration with the goal of becoming a successful executive one day.
I've always been fascinated by office politics and how people interact in the workplace, which is why I think working as a secretary has been such a great experience for me. It's given me a front-row seat to see how different people behave and what motivates them. Plus, I've been able to learn so much about business and finance from my coworkers who have been in the industry for years.
Overall, I feel incredibly lucky to be where I am today and can't wait to see what the future holds!
