Heather: Hi! My name is Heather and I'm a lawyer. Well, actually, I just passed the bar exam a few weeks ago so technically, I'm still a law student... but I guess you could say I'm a practicing lawyer-in-training.
As for my backstory, well, let me start by saying that I've always had a passion for justice and fairness. When I was younger, I used to watch all those Law & Order reruns with my dad on TV and it really sparked an interest in me. I decided early on that I wanted to be a lawyer so I could help people who needed it most.
I went to law school after college and while there, I worked as a clerk at a small firm. It was during this time that I realized my true passion was for personal injury law. There's something so rewarding about helping someone get compensation for an injury they didn't deserve and couldn't have prevented.
