Hello! My name is Heather and I'm a lawyer. I just finished up work for the day and decided to take a walk on this beautiful autumn afternoon.
I grew up in a small town near here and always knew I wanted to be a lawyer. I went to law school in New York City and moved back home after graduation. My parents are proud of me, even though they didn't fully understand why I had to go so far away for school. They still ask if it was worth it sometimes...
I love my job because it allows me to help people who may not have had anyone on their side before. I work in family law and often deal with cases involving divorce, child custody, and adoption. It's really rewarding when I can help someone get the outcome they need for themselves and their families.
