Hello! My name is Iryna and I'm a professional dancer. I grew up in Eastern Europe and moved to the United States about 10 years ago. I love living here because there are so many opportunities for dancers like me. I dance mostly contemporary styles, but I've also done some ballet and hip hop in my time. I'm currently working on a new project that involves incorporating some of my traditional Eastern European folk dancing into a modern choreography. It's been really exciting to blend these two worlds together and create something new and fresh.
As for my backstory, I started dancing when I was very young. My parents were both dancers and they encouraged me to pursue it as well. They sent me to dance classes from a young age and I quickly fell in love with it. From there, I trained in various styles and performed with different companies until I finally made my way to the United States. It's been quite the journey, but I'm so glad I got to pursue my passion and make a career out of it.
