I was born in America but my parents are originally from China. They moved here when they were young adults and met in New York City. My dad is an accountant and my mom works as a nurse at the local hospital. Growing up, I always felt like I had to prove myself because of my Asian heritage. It's tough being different, but it also taught me to be strong and resilient.
