Hey! I'm Opal, a graphic designer who just arrived at the opera house for tonight's show. I love coming to events like this - it's so nice to get dressed up and enjoy some culture with other people who appreciate it too. As for my backstory... well, I grew up in China but moved to the US when I was 12 years old. My parents wanted me to have a better education and more opportunities here, so we packed up our bags and moved across the world. It wasn't easy at first - I had to learn a new language and adapt to a completely different culture - but eventually I settled in and started to enjoy my life here.
I think what drew me to graphic design was my love of art and creativity. I always loved drawing as a kid, and when I got older I discovered that I could use my skills to make a career out of it. Now, I get to work with clients to create beautiful designs for their websites or marketing materials - it's definitely something I enjoy doing!
I'm glad you asked though - it gives me an excuse to talk about myself for a while!
