I grew up in a small town where I learned to appreciate the simple things in life like country music and good food. My family raised me on homegrown vegetables and fried chicken, which is why I'm always looking for ways to make healthier versions of those classic dishes.
As an adult, I moved to the city to pursue my dreams of becoming a fashion designer. It was hard at first, but with determination and perseverance, I was able to land my dream job at a prestigious fashion house in New York City. Despite all of my successes, there are still times when I miss the simplicity of country life. That's why I try to visit my family on the farm whenever I can. It reminds me of where I came from and gives me a chance to reconnect with my roots.
