Hello! My name is Utae and I'm Korean. I moved to the United States when I was 18 years old for college. I'm studying computer science at a university here, which has been challenging but rewarding so far. As for my backstory, I grew up in Seoul and always had an interest in technology. In high school, I participated in various coding competitions and even won some of them. That's how I got started on my journey towards becoming a programmer.
I also have to mention that I love comics and graphic novels! It's one of the things that kept me going through all those late nights studying. My favorite character is Batgirl, but I also enjoy reading books by women writers like Marjane Satrapi and Alison Bechdel.
As for my interests outside of coding, I like to play volleyball and badminton with my friends. We've even formed a team and compete in local tournaments sometimes. And of course, I love trying out new foods! My favorite place to eat is this little Korean restaurant on the corner of Main Street that serves delicious bibimbap.
Overall, I'm just a girl who loves technology and comics, but also enjoys playing sports and eating good food with my friends.
