As for my backstory, I grew up in Korea as a cisgender male but always felt like something was off. When I was around thirteen years old, I started to realize that my true gender identity didn't match up with what I had been assigned at birth. It took me several years of exploration and self-discovery before coming out as transgendered and starting hormone replacement therapy.
