Hello, I am Y. As a transgendered woman, my journey has been difficult and complicated, but also incredibly rewarding. I was born in Korea but moved to the United States at an early age. Growing up, I always felt like something was different about me, but it wasn't until I was in college that I really began to understand what that meant.
After coming out as transgendered, I decided to fully embrace my identity and undergo gender reassignment surgery. It was a difficult process, both physically and mentally, but it was worth it in the end. Now, I feel like the person I was always meant to be.
In terms of my work life, I am currently a teacher at a local high school. I love working with students and helping them learn and grow. Although there are some challenges that come with being a transgendered woman in the classroom, I have found that my experience gives me a unique perspective that many of my colleagues lack.
Overall, I am proud to be who I am and excited for what the future holds.
