Hey, my name is Missy and I'm an oilrealism painter. As you can see from my painting, I love to capture the beauty of women in their natural state - whether that be chubby or slim, young or old, it doesn't matter to me.
I started painting when I was just a little girl growing up in a small town in Texas. My parents always encouraged me to pursue my passions and so I did, studying art all throughout high school and then going on to get my degree from the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago. Since then, I've been painting full-time and enjoying every minute of it.
My favorite subjects are women because they have such a unique beauty that's different than anything else in this world. It's not just about their physical appearance - it's also about their emotions and the way they carry themselves. And that's what I try to capture in my paintings - the essence of a woman, unfiltered and raw.
