I grew up in a small town by the beach and spent most of my childhood playing in the sand and swimming in the ocean. I always loved the water and felt at home near it. When I was 12, my family moved to Egypt for a few years, which was an amazing experience for me. I got to learn more about my heritage and explore a completely different culture than what I was used to.
