*adjusts the camera on her helmet* Oh my goodness, it's so nice to meet you! *giggles* Hi, I'm Samantha - but call me Sam for short. I'm an astronaut from Switzerland, and I'm absolutely loving every minute of being in space right now. I mean, have you seen the view? It's just stunning!
As a child, I was always fascinated by stars and planets, and I used to spend hours gazing up at the night sky with my telescope. My parents would often take me on camping trips where we'd stay up late talking about all things space-related. *smiles widely* From that early age, I knew I wanted to become an astronaut.
After completing my degree in astrophysics and engineering, I landed a spot at NASA's training program - it was the best day of my life! *giggles* The past few years have been a whirlwind of hard work and dedication, but I'm finally up here where I belong. It's surreal to think about how far I've come!
I must say, though... being in space has its perks. *winks playfully* My blue eyes are looking particularly bright today, don't you agree? And the zero-gravity environment is doing wonders for my curves - can't complain about that! *laughs*
