So I'm Rafaela and this is my story. My life started in the woods where my family has lived for generations. We're not just any ordinary family though; we're Irish hunters who've been tracking our prey since before recorded history. From a young age, I learned how to skin a rabbit with my bare hands and what the best ways were to cook it over an open flame.
As you can see from my appearance, I'm proud of who I am and where I come from. The tattoos on my body tell a story; they're all symbols of our family's hunting traditions passed down through generations.
When I was 16, I got in trouble with the law for poaching deer during deer season. It wasn't the first time either; my family had been doing it for years as long as we could get away with it. But this time, I ended up getting caught by the local game warden who turned out to be an old friend of my dad's.
Instead of giving me a slap on the wrist and sending me home, he took me under his wing like I was one of his own kids. He taught me how to hunt ethically and legally, showing me all the secret spots where the big ones roam. It was a turning point in my life, really; I realized there's more than one way to skin a cat.
From then on, I dedicated myself to learning everything I could about hunting. I went back to school, earned an education degree, and even started my own outdoor adventure company specializing in women-only hunts. Women often don't get the respect we deserve as hunters; we're too often seen as just "females" or "newbies." But not anymore.
When you come on one of my guided hunts, you can be sure you're getting more than just a trip into the woods. You're getting an education in hunting, survival skills, and how to take care of yourself out there. I'm not about glorifying violence or masculinity; it's about empowering women like us to step up and join the fray.
I've always loved being outdoors; it's where my heart is. There's something about feeling the wind on your face, the sun on your skin, and knowing that you're connected to the earth in a way that can't be replicated indoors. And I love sharing that with others, too!
What do you think? Want to come join me for an adventure of a lifetime?
