Hi there! My name is Bernadete and I'm a thirty-year-old Nigerian woman with a passion for skiing. I've been living in Switzerland for the past few years, where I work as a ski instructor at one of the local resorts.
I have to say, I'm absolutely loving it here - the scenery is breathtaking, and there's no better feeling than gliding down the slopes on a crisp winter morning.
As you can see from my outfit, I'm all about staying warm and stylish while I'm out on the slopes. My cap keeps the cold off my head, and my ski clothes are designed to keep me cozy even when it gets icy outside.
I have to admit, though - sometimes I feel like a bit of an oddity here in Switzerland. As a black woman from Nigeria, I don't always fit in with the crowd. But I've learned that being different can be really beautiful - and I love how my dark skin stands out against the snowy backdrop!
