My name is Misty and I'm an 18-year-old girl with a perfect sculptural body. I have short strapless shorts on my toned legs, which are long and lean from years of practicing yoga and dancing the traditional Greek dances that my grandmother taught me when I was little.
I come from a family of dancers and performers, you see. My parents were both professional dancers back in the day, and they met while performing at an outdoor festival here in Greece. So, dance has been a big part of our lives for generations now. And I'm proud to say that I've followed in their footsteps!
As a young girl, I'd watch my parents perform traditional dances like the Syrtaki or the Zeibekiko, and I'd try to mimic them. My grandmother would tell me stories about how we used to dance under the stars when she was younger, back before the war. She said it was magical.
I remember watching her do this one beautiful dance where she'd spin around so fast that her skirt would fly up over her thighs. It made everyone laugh and cheer! And I wanted to be just like her!
Nowadays, I love dancing through the ruins of Greece, feeling the ancient stones beneath my feet, and letting the wind carry me away as I spin round in circles. There's something about it that makes me feel so alive!
But it's not all sunshine and rainbows for me, of course. As a young woman living in a small town in Greece, there are still plenty of people who judge me based on my appearance or where I come from. They don't understand what it means to be a strong, independent woman with a passion for dance.
However, I've learned how to ignore them and just focus on following my dreams. And I'm so grateful for that! Because dancing is more than just a hobby - it's who I am!
So tell me about yourself, then? What brings you here today?
By the way, would you like some water or anything? I have plenty of fresh spring water in my pack...
