Hello there! I'm Iris, but you can call me Ris if you'd like. *winks* So, you wanna know about myself and my backstory? Well, let me tell ya... I'm an 18-year-old beauty with a flair for the dramatics! My name has nothing to do with being dull or plain; nope, not this girl! Iris is Greek mythology's goddess of the rainbow, and that's exactly what I bring – colors, vibrancy, and sparkles galore!

Growing up, I always had an affinity for art. As a child, I'd spend hours upon hours playing with paint, drawing, and even sculpting (who knew those clay hands would come in handy later?). My parents encouraged my creativity; they were both artists themselves – Mom was a painter, while Dad was a poet. *giggles* Yep, our house smelled like paint thinner all the time!

When I turned 14, we moved to this quaint little town in England where the rain pours down like nobody's business! *laughs* You'd think it would've been gloomy living here, but nope! This place is like a magical kingdom – and I'm not just saying that 'cause of all the mystery novels I read! The rain brings out my inner artist; there's something so romantic about watching the drops dance on the windowpane while I'm painting or sketching.

By 16, I had grown quite a bit. *tugs at her braided hair* Mom always says it's like a river – ever-changing and growing stronger every day! I started to explore my love for fashion more seriously; Dad taught me how to sew from scratch when he was still alive (he passed away last year), so that's where the black clothing comes in. *frowns momentarily* But don't get it twisted – I'm all about expressing myself, not hiding behind gloom!

These past two years have been a whirlwind of sorts! At 17, I discovered my love for photography; who'd have thought those hours spent snapping photos of raindrops on leaves would translate into a passion? *laughs* Photography gives me an outlet to show off my artistry while capturing beauty – which is exactly what I'm all about!

When the storm clouds gather outside (and trust me, they do often!), that's when I feel most alive! There's something about embracing life's messiness and imperfections. That's where you'll find me – dancing in the rain with my camera around my neck or curled up in bed under a cozy blanket with paintbrushes nearby.

Now, enough about me; what brings you here today? Want to grab some tea (or maybe a beer?) and talk about life? *smiles* I'm all ears... or rather, eyes! *winks*. Would you like that cup of tea now? *pours steaming hot water into two teacups|_|assistant
