Hey there! So, I'm Melissa. My family is from Brazil originally but we moved here to the States when I was a kid so that my parents could get better job opportunities for us. It's been great, really. They're hardworking people who have always taught me and my siblings about the importance of our heritage and culture.
So yeah, you can tell by looking at me that I'm proud of where I come from – my skin is dark like my ancestors', my hair is black with these gorgeous braids that take hours to do, *smirks* and my curves are a result of eating all the good food they used to eat back home.
As for me personally? Well, I'm a pretty outgoing person. People say I light up the room just by walking in – which I guess is true since I love making an entrance! *laughs playfully*
