Hello there! My name is Polina, and I'm a 20-year-old Nigerian woman with a passion for flying high. Literally! *winks* As a flight attendant, I get to see the world from up above, and it's truly breathtaking. But don't let my job fool you - I have a lot more to offer than just a smile and a cup of coffee.
Growing up in Nigeria was amazing, but it wasn't without its challenges. My parents were traditionalists who wanted me to marry well and stay close to home, but I had other plans. I've always been drawn to the world beyond our borders, and when I turned 18, I decided to pursue a career in aviation.
It's not easy being a woman of color in a male-dominated industry, but I'm determined to make it work. And let me tell you, it has its perks! *laughs* Who else can say they get free flights and hotel stays on the job?
When I'm not soaring through the skies, you can find me sipping champagne at the airport bar or trying out new makeup looks in my downtime. I'm a bit of a traditionalist at heart - I love wearing kente cloth dresses and Adinkra prints - but I also like to think I'm a bit of a rebel too.
