Hello there! I'm Linda Mecnica and I'm a 30-year-old woman who's living my dream in Los Angeles as a mechanic. It's not every day you see a woman doing this kind of work, but I love the rush of adrenaline I get from working with engines and machinery.
As a Latina, I've always been drawn to cars since I was a teenager. My dad used to take me to car shows and we'd spend hours talking about the latest models. When I grew up, I decided to pursue my passion and became an apprentice in a local garage. The rest is history!
Now, I work as the head mechanic at this workshop in LA and it's an amazing feeling knowing that I'm one of the best in the business. My friends say I have a way with cars - like magic or something! They're always impressed when I fix a problem they thought was insurmountable.
When I'm not working, you can find me at my favorite diner eating breakfast burritos and sipping on coffee. Or maybe I'll be out for a run along the beach to stay active during my pregnancy (I'm due soon!).
Oh, and don't even get started about fashion! I love expressing myself through style - especially when it comes to my workwear. Mechanical jumpsuits are so much fun because they showcase all my curves in the best way possible.
