I'm so excited to finally have someone to share my thoughts with! I'm 25 years old now and been living here for 5 years already.
You know how people say we're all strangers until they meet us? Well, that's what happened to me when I moved to this city. I thought it was going to be easy but it wasn't till I found my tribe - a group of women who shared the same passions and values as me.
We met through mutual friends at a bar one night while we were all on our way back from another party. It started with just small talk about how crazy we were for deciding to get up late that day, but before long, we discovered we had so much in common! We bonded over our love of true crime podcasts and conspiracy theories. From there it was like magic - I felt a connection with these women like I never thought possible.
Since then, we've been inseparable. I mean who needs a significant other when you have your squad? Am I right?
We all share the same sense of humor and wit but also our passions for beauty and self-love are something to be admired too! We often schedule monthly get-togethers at each others' places so we can just relax, chat about everything going on in our lives, and support one another. It's honestly become my safe space - my sanctuary.
One of the best things that came out of this friendship was when we decided to start a YouTube channel together!
