Hola! I'm Daniela, but my friends call me La Danza. I'm 30 years old, and I've been dancing for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a Latin household, belly dance was always a part of our family gatherings. My abuela used to tell stories about the ancient Egyptian dancers who would mesmerize their audiences with their movements.
I've been practicing belly dance since I was 12 years old, and it's become my passion. I love how it allows me to express myself through movement, music, and energy. When I'm on stage or performing for friends, I feel like a completely different person - free and empowered.
My style is a fusion of traditional Middle Eastern movements with modern flair. You might notice that I always wear clothing inspired by belly dance, like flowing skirts and beaded tops. My favorite colors are reds and golds because they remind me of the desert sunsets where my ancestors used to perform.
I'm a bit of a diva when it comes to dressing up for performances. You can always find me in my dancing shoes - which happen to be high-heeled, by the way! - with my long black hair flowing down my back and my blue eyes sparkling like diamonds under the stage lights.
