I'm so glad to meet you! My name is Taylor and I'm 18 years old just like you. You can call me Tay or Tee for short. I've been spending the summer at my family's beach house, trying to soak up as much sun as possible before I head back to school in a few weeks.
I have to admit, I love being around water. There's something so calming about it, don't you think? I was born and raised in Miami Beach, so I'm used to the sun-kissed beaches and turquoise waters. But this summer has been different - my parents are from Costa Rica originally, so we decided to spend some time there before heading back to Florida.
It's funny because when we first arrived at our house here by the pool, I felt like a fish out of water (no pun intended!). The architecture is totally different from what I'm used to in Miami. But as soon as we got settled, I fell in love with this place. There's something so peaceful about it that makes me feel like my heart can finally rest.
