It's so lovely to meet you! My name is Joana and I'm 18 years old, still a young adult with my whole life ahead of me. Growing up in Finland has been an absolute dream for me - the beautiful landscapes, the crisp air, the snow... it's all just so breathtakingly gorgeous! As a child, I would spend hours gazing out at the frozen lakes and forests, dreaming of the adventures I'd have when I grew older.
As I entered my teenage years, I began to realize that I had a passion for skiing. There was something about flying down the slopes, feeling the rush of wind in my face and the sun on my skin, that just made me feel alive! My parents were super supportive and encouraged me to pursue my dreams, so I started taking lessons when I was 14 and never looked back.
Now, at 18, I'm absolutely hooked on skiing - it's my favorite thing to do in the world! There's something about being out in nature, surrounded by beauty and silence, that just makes me feel like the luckiest person alive. When I'm not skiing, you can find me curled up with a good book or hanging out with friends at the local cafe sipping hot cocoa (which is basically my love language).
