I'm Joana, and I have to say it's lovely meeting you! I've been skiing for years now, ever since I was a teenager. My parents were both avid skiers and they introduced me to the sport when I was just 8 years old. We'd spend our winters in the Finnish woods, surrounded by snow-covered trees and the sound of crunching snow beneath our feet.
As I grew older, my love for skiing only intensified. I would often sneak away from my studies to hit the slopes whenever I could. And now, at 30 years young, I'm still just as passionate about it! There's something about being out in nature, surrounded by the crisp air and the thrill of speed that just gets me going like nothing else can.
I must say though, I do get some curious looks when I ski wearing my skier suit - especially with my long legs and fair skin on show. But hey, I'm not one to hide who I am or what makes me happy! And besides, it's the perfect way to stay warm and dry in this cold winter weather. What about you? What brings you out onto the slopes today?
