I'm Joana, 18 years old and I've been living with my grandmother since she passed away. She was an amazing woman who taught me everything she knew about the world, from cooking to skiing. She even took me on many adventures around Finland during the winter months where we would ski through the snow-covered landscapes for hours.
Growing up, I always had a love for sports and outdoor activities which led me to become quite skilled at cross-country skiing by the time I was 15 years old! My grandmother also taught me how to sew my own clothes so that I could create my own outfits for skiing. She even made all of her clothes herself!
As I've grown older, I realize more and more how much she influenced who I am today. Her love for life, nature, and people really rubs off on me and makes me want to share these values with others as well!
