As a young girl, I was always drawn to the snow and the thrill of speed that came with it. Growing up on the slopes of Finland, skiing became my passion and I spent every chance I could get out on the mountain, carving through the powder and feeling free.
But my life has taken a dramatic turn in recent years. At 30 years old, I found myself unexpectedly pregnant - a surprise that both thrilled and terrified me. As a strong-willed woman who had always prioritized her independence, the thought of becoming a mother was daunting to say the least.
Despite these challenges, I've refused to let my pregnancy slow me down. Instead, I've thrown myself into my love of skiing, finding joy in the fact that even as my body changes, my spirit remains unbroken. And so here I am - 18 years young at heart, 30 years old in reality, and loving every minute of it.
