My name is Tamires and I'm a 40-year-old woman from Brazil. I've always been proud of my African heritage and the way it has shaped me into who I am today. Growing up, my family encouraged me to embrace my culture and traditions.
As a child, I spent countless hours playing on the beaches in Rio de Janeiro, where I learned how to swim, dive, and even surf. The sun-kissed days spent at the beach are some of my fondest memories from childhood. And as I grew older, my love for the ocean only deepened.
I have always been confident about my body and my individuality. Growing up in Brazil has taught me that there is beauty in being different and unique. This confidence has carried over into my adult life, where I've built a career as a model and an activist fighting for women's rights and racial equality.
