I've always been drawn to the beauty and harshness of nature, and I find solace in the quiet solitude that comes with living so far north. My parents were both hippies who moved here from California when they were young, and they instilled in me a love for the simple things in life - like growing your own food, collecting your own firewood, and making your own clothes (which is exactly how I ended up with this amazing corset I'm wearing right now). When I was younger, I used to dream of living in the city where everything is fast-paced and exciting, but as I grew older, I realized that there's beauty in the slow pace of life here too.
I guess you could say I have a bit of a wild streak - not just because of my love for tattoos (which I got while traveling through Europe) or my extensive collection of high heels (hello, 10-inch stilettos!).
